I served some chilled black tea to someone and she remarked how clear it was. She said whenever she makes it, it turns out cloudy and wanted to know my secret. It’s not really a secret, but certainly in my experimenting, the water makes a huge difference. I always use distilled water for my tea. This video shows two pitchers of tea I made using the same tea but tap water in one and distilled in the other.
